Organoleptic properties
Galatina DOC Bianco is light straw yellow in colour with greenish tinges. To the nose it is delicate and pleasantly fruity. To the palate it is dry, lively and typical.
Galatina Chardonnay is straw yellow in colour, to the nose it is delicate and pleasant, to the palate it is dry and full-bodied.
Galatina Rosé is pink verging on light cherry in colour. To the nose it is slightly vinous, somewhat lingering and fruity.
Galatina Rosso is ruby red with red-brick tinges when aged. To the nose it is intense and vinous, to the palate it is mouthfilling, dry, full-bodied and warm.
Galatina Negroamaro may be given the indication ‘Riserva’ on the label provide that its minimum alcohol level reaches 12.5% and has been ageing for at least 2 years. It is ruby red in colour with varying intensity, when aged its colour acquires red-brick tinges. To the nose it is pleasant and intense. To the palate it is mouthfilling, polished and well- orchestrated.
