Organoleptic properties
Copertino Rosso is red ruby in colour with varying intensity and with purplish tinges when young, on the contrary it tends to orange when aged. To the nose it is lingering and vinous. To the palate it is dry, velvety, and tangy with an acidic aftertaste.
Copertino Rosé is salmon pink verging on cherry in colour with auburn tinges. To the nose it is intense, rather lingering, slightly vinous and fruity, with hints of cherries but somewhat herbaceous. To the palate it is dry, rather warm, almost chamois soft, slightly tannic, full-bodied, and quite savoury and balanced.
