The town of Alberobello has received the Certificate of excellent tourist reputation as a cultural destination among the most qualified in 2013.
The award was presented by three Swiss institutions: the University of Italian Switzerland; Visit Italy, Swiss agency that promotes Italy in the world; the organizing secretary of the Swiss holidays Fair.
The certification was awarded to the City of Trulli, Unesco heritage, for a ‘web reputation’ of high quality standard. The project is called Web2rism and it employed a technologically innovative system that evaluates the online perception of tourists according to the markets.
