Maglie in the province of Lecce will host the 15th edition of “Mercatino del Gusto” a food and wine event that will be held August 1-5, 2014 that is addressed to communications operators, journalists, bloggers, experts and researchers who have enhanced the area through articles, radio and television report, photos, publications or communication campaigns talking about sustainability and innovation.
During the award ceremony which will be held August 1, at the opening of the event, the top three finalists will be awarded by the jury coordinated by Giacomo Mojoli, an expert in design thinking applied to the Food & Wine, a supply of products from Apulia and a stay of three days. There will be special mentions for restaurateurs, chefs, producers and companies that have been active in the promotion of the region.
The event takes its name from the stands of exhibitors and over ninety Apulian producers of oil, wine and beer. Five days of workshops, dinners, street food, music, dancing and much more.
The event is organized by the omitato Mercatino del Gusto with the support of the Chamber of Commerce of Lecce, Puglia Region, the Province of Lecce, Maglie City and several private companies.
Registration is open until June 23, 2014.
