The Bata Shoe Museum in Toronto will host the event “The wines of Puglia – The heel of Italy’s boot” Friday June 6th, 2014. The evening begins with an information session on the region of Puglia and its wines, followed by a presentation and tasting of wines from seven amazing Puglia cantine: Rivera, Vigne e Vini, Tenute Emera, Duca Carlo Guarini, Carvinea, Leone De Castris, Tormaresca.
Together with many experts, journalists and trades, visitors will be part of an emotional journey in the ‘tacco’, the heel of the Italian boot, the flavourful region of Puglia, surrounded by the perfect match of the unique and exquisite environment of Bata Shoe Museum.
This event is part of the celebrations of the Italian Heritage Month in Toronto.
The sommelier, one of Canada’s most prominent experts of Italian wines, food and travel, Antonio Mauriello will be speaker and tasting panel leader during the event.
