Sunday, April 6, for MSC Cruises in Bari the new MSC Preziosa cruise marked the start of the summer season.
The is ship 333 meters long and 38 meters wide. At the grand opening there were the representatives of local authorities and institutions welcomed by the Captain Giuliano Bossi, Francesco Manco, area manager of MSC Crociere. The arrival of MSC Precious also coincides with the start of the summer routes to discover the Eastern Mediterranean. The program will continue until November.
MSC Precious depart from Bari every Sunday for 8 day cruises to Greece, Turkey and Croatia, in the direction of Katakolon, a characteristic point of access to the nearby Olympia; Izmir, cosmopolitan city with wonderful palm-lined boulevards near the bay; Istanbul, a fascinating blend of the past and present with its colorful Bazaar.
After a day of sailing in the waters of the Adriatic the return with a final stop in Dubrovnik, the “Pearl of the Adriatic” famous for its rich archaeological heritage, and Venice. MSC Fantasia instead will travel to Greece and Croatia, with sailings from Bari every Monday from April to October for a weekly itinerary with stops in Dubrovnik, the Ionian island of Corfu, Santorini until you discover the splendor of Athens and Katakolon before returning to Italy, Venice and Bari.
