Puglia records a new success in the brewery field. Birranova Brewery (Triggianello, Bari) received three awards during the Beer of the Year 2014.
The contest organized by Unionbirrai rewards the excellence in Italian craft beers and it saw the participation of 123 producers for a total of 621 beers. For each of the 26 categories, the jury decided 3 winners, 79 awards.
Birranova Brewery won first and second place in the category ‘Strong Ale’, respectively with Negramara extra (first) and Abboccata (second), and a great first placement with beer Moscata in the new category dedicated to beers with grape must.
